2. What we collect
  • Enquiries: your name, email address, company, phone number and anything you include in a message through our contact form or by email.
  • Website usage: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, referring site, device type, approximate location and an online identifier.
  • Clients and prospects: contact and business details needed to discuss and deliver projects.
3. How and why we use it
3.1 To reply to enquiries and discuss potential work (legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract).
3.2 To deliver projects and manage our client relationships (contract).
3.3 To understand how the site is used and improve it (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings).
3.4 Enquiries sent through our contact form are processed by Framer and delivered to our email, which is hosted by SiteGround. We may use AI tools for administration, such as summarising correspondence. We only use tools configured not to train on what we enter.

4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the business (website hosting with Framer, analytics with Google, email with SiteGround, accounting and similar), under appropriate data protection terms, or where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
5. How long we keep it
  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 2 years.
  • Client records: 6 years after the project ends, for legal and accounting purposes.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to transfer elsewhere. Email hello@pivotalbrands.studio and we will reply within one month. There is no charge. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
