LCN Legal.
An identity as clear as the advice.
A brand identity, guidelines and website design for LCN Legal, an international law firm that helps multinational groups get the legal side of transfer pricing right.
LCN Legal.
Overview
LCN Legal specialises in intercompany agreements: the contracts between companies in the same group that support their transfer pricing.
Its clients include some of the world's largest multinational groups, and co-founder Paul Sutton wrote the practical guide on the subject. The firm also trains tax and legal professionals through webinars, courses and briefings.

LCN Legal.
The Challenge
LCN's original logo was a heavy green slab-serif wordmark. It read more like a local practice than a firm advising some of the world's largest groups.

As the firm grew internationally, it needed an identity with the same authority as its work, without the stiffness of a typical law firm.

LCN Legal.
The Solution
We replaced the wordmark with a lighter, more open mark: a circle of dots around a lower-case 'lcn', in a deep navy and bright blue drawn from a single gradient.

Brand identity Brand guidelines Document templates Website design

Brandon Grotesque gives it a clear, modern voice. Detailed guidelines cover the logo, colour, type and layouts for presentations, reports and stationery, so LCN's team can produce consistent documents themselves. We also designed the website, built by LCN's developer in 2021.

LCN Legal.
The Outcome
The identity gave LCN a brand with the same authority as its advice.

Two firms, one process.
LCN chose a second logo from the concepts for LCN Property, which still uses it today.
Consistent by default.
Guidelines and templates let LCN's team produce on-brand documents themselves, from stationery to long-form technical guides.
Built to last.
Six years on, the 2020 identity still fronts both firms.
From proposals to training materials, everything LCN publishes now looks like it comes from the same firm.
“We love our new branding; we feel it captures the ethos of our company beautifully. In fact, we were so impressed that we chose a second logo which fits perfectly to another branch of the business!”
